The Wonk boys have done it again, this time they've none other than Jack Beats as in ''oh my god is that Jack Beats??'' to headline. To me, these guys invented that 'wonky' bass drop, you know the type.. wah wah wah wahwawawawawah.Right yea, Jack Beats yea, consist of one half a Scratch Pervert and the other is a Mixologist, mental. They've had releases on Cheap Thrills, official remixing for DIOYY on Virgin, Palms out, Ahead of The Game Records.....etc (!!). Impressive no? Not half as impressive as the dance moves they'll make you pull. You'll find yourself looking like you've regressed back to halfway down Darwin's evolution chart. Serious.
And as Urban Gorilla sets down it's last ever...sets... this month, Mr Urban Gorilla himself Mark Ross will cheer himself up by also taking a place on the Wonk line up. Expect tech-house dancey goodness.
I'm sure we all agree it's sad to see Sheffield's major club night leave, but we must also agree that it's awesome to see that many nights like Wonk, No Uniform, Fairground, Trust (loads more)...are getting more and more successful recently. I'm going to get emotional...guysss...
Ahem.
Skullduggery will of course be whackin' out another extra-cool set, which I am excited for. These guys are super talented when it comes to knowing what people want it seems, you'll see what I mean when you download this latest mix that I've had on repeat for quite some time.

Ere', Jack Beats have given me permission to post up one of their tunes, lovely. I wanted to post this one 'specially, because there's a point in the song that made me take notice of them for the first time... you'll all hear the point that I mean. It starts off like the original and is all like 'ah yeah another great Boy 8-Bit tune..wicked...turn it up.... then WHOA'.
